Tomorrow is December already, crazy! Today was our first snow here in Iowa City!

Day 11, November 29

Oh no, another day where I didn't have a picture of the day ready until the very end of the night, and so it will probably again not be the best. The only pictures I took today were from me trying to figure out if I like an outfit...so you can maybe give some advice...hehe. Mike (my boss) is planning on having me in a short little clip/commercial thing for the new North Liberty store, and is going to "shoot" it with his digital camera tomorrow...ha, so I am not sure what to wear. I kind of like this shirt (Steph, it is actually like your new blue one, but a size bigger), but Mom thinks it is too loose/is a pregnant shirt...it is a little more loose in the tummy area than maybe preferred, but I kind of don't mind it/don't think it looks too bad. What do you think?

Too loose?? Also, what do you think of this belt with it? (It is actually a regular belt...just wrapped and tucked under...so not the best/not sure how long it would stay, but does it look goofy??)

Day 10, November 28

I realized it was starting to get late and I still had no picture of the day. So this is a kind of a lame picture, but this is where I have been a lot of the day today, trying to get some work done. I love this little living room nook though! A fav part of my apartment, with a (free) table that extends nicely to gives me more space when working, or rolling out pie crusts... Another favorite thing: watching Amazing Race with Creighton on Sundays! :)

Note: see how I have both my computers out...I was working on my old one, since it has all my work stuff on it, but ran out of listening hours on Pandora (you get 40 hours a month per computer and I still sometimes/often run out)...then remembered I could use Pandora on my NEW laptop! hehe

Day 9, November 27

Creighton got me a computer for my birthday/Christmas present!! It just arrived yesterday and it is sweet! Thanks Creighton!! :)

Day 8, November 26

Mom is going to get a sweet phone! Ha, here is her looking at my blog on the Samsung Fascinate...she is probably going to get that or the Droid Incredible. What?! :)

Day 7, November 25, Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving from our house! A little sample of what went on at our house today! (Should have grabbed a shot of cute 7-month-old Lincoln though, Christopher and Jamie's son!)

Day 6, November 24

I drove home to my parents' house in Des Moines today. Here is a picture of their new painting above the fireplace, for you, Steph! They also redid the downstairs bathroom recently, looks good!

After we skyped with Steph and Andrew and Vi (Abbs was asleep), we enjoyed some of this...It has been FOREVER since I've had Casey's pizza...yum!

Day 5, November 23, HAPPY BIRTHDAY SISTER!!

This is a $27 steak. For me, today, it was $0. I love Atlas! If you live close to Iowa City, please sign up for their e-mail 'club' right now! You can get ANY entree on their menu for free for your birthday!! Looove it. Just wish I could have gone with my SISTER today to celebrate her birthday! This is admittedly not the clearest photo, but I was rushed because Creighton was embarrassed/making fun of me for taking pictures of my food. :)

Note: I actually recommend the Iowa Pork Tenderloin OVER this steak, if you happen to want a suggestion. :)

Here is another bonus picture for today, just to note that I did in fact plan ahead today and had plenty of time to go to the bank before work AND take a few pictures from my seat on a bench in the ped mall. (Even remembered my camera.)

Sometimes I feel a little silly pulling my camera out in public and snapping random pictures...I get a little self-conscious for some reason...so hopefully this picture a day thing will work on that as well. :)

Day 4, November 22

I love Piperlime. I have been trying to decide on winter boots for a long time...and taking advantage of the free shipping both ways from Piperlime. Got a big package today...these boots! I think these may end up being the ones I keep...what do you think?

Day 3, November 21

This is the wall next to my desk. It just recently became my new prayer wall/collage/place to put things I like/think are lovely wall. I really like it! It is made possible by these awesome magnetic push pins that I got at Wal-Mart for 10 cents. I love that part too! They are sweet. :)

Day 2, November 20

So...day 2, I am already kind of cheating. None of these pictures were actually taken on the 20th...but they all have the same theme...pie! And these pies still existed on the 20th...yeah, a little of a stretch, but...I'm going with it for now since I forgot to take any pictures that day. Creighton and I made a bunch of pies for a Thanksgiving dinner potluck with some friends on Friday night. Two lemon meringue, one banana cream (because it was the host's favorite), and an apple pie.The very last bit of my apple pie.

Umm....so maybe I will try to post again?

So, it has been a good amount of time since I have done anything on here...not since just after I got back from Greece...it was mostly for updating when I was away from the country. But, I have not been using my camera enough lately, and I have seen some of those "picture a day" things and I like them...so I just decided a couple days ago that maybe I would try that...so that I would get into the habit of taking more pictures again...and then I already forgot until today...so we will see how this goes. Maybe it will also help me make decisions quicker...or maybe you will occasionally get more than one picture a day. :)

We'll start off with a picture from Friday, November 19th, my 25th birthday! (weird) I went out for breakfast with my dear friend, Ashley, at Bluebird Diner and browsed the shop Artifacts across the street for awhile after. It was lovely. Thanks Ash!
Oops, see I'm already putting two pictures instead of one! Just wanted to add Ash's nice shot of my delish blueberry pancakes with fresh whipped cream. Mmm. I forgot to take a pic BEFORE I ate most of it though...just think, it looked even BETTER. :)
