Well hello! I promised I would really TRY to keep with this this time, as I reuse this blog yet again, this time during my time spent in GREECE! I think it's interesting to find that Greece's name is actually Ellada (eh-lah-thah), and it's actual official name is the Hellenic Republic. I never really got why we don't just call other countries by the name that they call it, since it's usually going to be foreign sounding (at first) either way. Anyway, I've been here about a week, and so far so good! I was supposed to arrive last Monday, but it ended up SNOWING in London, and so I had a few change of plans.

Sorry if this is slightly gross since I had already taken a bite before I thought to take a picture, but here is one of my first authentic gyros! They always put fries on it, who knew?
